The 2024 29er Swiss Open Championship took place from the 6th to the 9th June. On the first day of racing, a solid southerly allowed the 23 participating boats to complete four nice races. Unfortunately, the following two days were characterized by cloudy weather with scattered rain cells which prevented the buildup of any stable wind. A fifth race was started in good windy on Sunday, but had to be abbandoned after the wind rotated and faded. The Championship nevertheless was completed successfully with four valid races. Congratulations to the winners Ikke Huber / Liam Berger (TYC), followed by Theodor Kowalewsky / Noah Strempfer (ZYC) and Malena Rüegge / Liv Wicky (SVKr)!
